Fahrenheit 451 Essay
Montag changed from being an unthinking men who ignores his soul, into being a men who realizes his spiritual needs as a human being. Montag passed through different times in this life that parallel the times he described in this verse. Montag was not a happy men because even though he doesn't even says it in the book, but by reading it you get a feeling that his life is not happy. his wife Mildred was also not happy because she took some sleeping pills. They both were not happy because even their marriage was not a happy one.
On the novel it appeared to be blood throughout the story and that was a symbol of a human being repressed soul. Throughout the book montag often feels that his thoughts were welling and circulating in this blood. The symbol of the blood is also the symbol of a snake and that is a machine to help people with health problems. Mildred remains unchanged when her poisoned blood is replaced with fresh mechanically administered blood which is the snakes one. The blood always has a symbol it could be a good one because it helps you with health problems, but it could also be bad because you don't know if the blood is healthy.
The direct characterization is when the narrator makes direct statements/facts about an individuals personality in the book. The indirect characterization is when the author shows specific information about an individual in the book which includes personality, thoughts and word. The direct of montag on the story is that he is getting confused on how beathy is manipulating him in coming back to being a firemen. Montage indirect is that he endeavors to learn the truth about the world by reading books and later is annoyed at how Mildred doesn't understand the way he thinks about books. You could also describe the characterization in other ways, but it also depends on the story you read.
Montag is able to watch the hound track him by glancing through people's house windows into their TVs. Montag runs to Faber's house, but he sees the hound hesitate on his TV so he runs toward the river where he thinks hes gonna be safe. When Montag gets to the river everyone starts to open their doors because the announcer counts to ten so people could do that. When Montag gets out of the river he starts walking and he finds a railroad track and he starts to follow it. When Montag was walking he gets a feeling that Clarissa once walked their to. He overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, and smell of nature.
The Fahrenheits 451 book and the would today have a similarity because of the advancement of technology. The television it what cause people to stay indoors and go out for a walk or at least have some fresh air. Also media is keeping people from knowing what is really going on in the would today and also in the book. In the story the books were take away and burned because people don't really read them anymore. People don't only want more technology, but they what it more quicker because it could help them get things done faster. By having the technology more quicker the cars are gonna be able to travel more and have a more high speed limit.
